Cherry Blossom Training Run

It was a fun run with Janie over to the Tidal Basin near the Thomas Jefferson Monument to see the famous Cherry Blossoms. I had a good week of training getting ready to pace my friend Cheryl Zwarkowski of Southern California in her upcoming Umstead 100 mile endurance run next Saturday in Raleigh, North Carolina.

I used to live in Washington, D.C. I was a student at Gallaudet University. This is probably one of my favorite time to see all the cherry blossom. Great pix. Wish I am there to be running!

Looks amazing, especially since we've had nothing but rain and grey skies in Western WA for a few weeks (thought I see some blue peeking at me now!). Glad you could soak it in!
